The National Broadcasting Company (NBC), a television network headquartered in the GE Building in New York City's Rockefeller Center. NBC ia sometimes referred to as the Peacock Network due to its stylized peacock logo.
Formed in 1926 by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA), in 1986 control of NBC passed to General Electric (GE).
The network is part of the media company NBC Universal, a unit of General Electric and Vivendi.
NBC broadcasted V on May 1 and 2, 1983; V: the Final Battle on May 6 - 8, 1984; and ran the V TV Series weekly from October 26, 1984 – March 22, 1985.
